Featuring Nathan Winograd, the director of the No Kill Advocacy Center, Nathan has been instrumental in creating NO KILL communities across the world. As the Executive Director for the Tompkins County (NY) SPCA, he managed a full range of animal control and adoption services, achieving the nation's first NO KILL community. Nathan has penned 2 award winning books; REDEMPTION & IRRECONCILABLE DIFFERENCES both "must haves" whether you are an animal lover, an animal control director, a veterinarian, a rescue group, a volunteer, a shelter employee or an activist. Mike Fry is the Executive Director of Animal Ark, Minnesota's largest No Kill Animal Welfare Organization. He is also the co-host of the weekly syndicated program ANIMAL WISE Radio. Under his leadership, Animal Ark has turned Hastings, MN and Prescott, WI into NO KILL Communities.
Mitch Schneider is the Director of Washoe County Regional Animal Services. He has also served as Field Services Supervisor of WCRAS, Senior Animal Control Officer with the city of Eden Prairie, MN and a board member for the Minnesota Animal Control Association. Under his leadership and in partnership with the Nevada Humane Society, Washoe County has one of the highest save rates in the nation.
Dr Linda Wolf is a nationally known speaker and veterinary consultant in animal behavior, nutrition and wildlife medicine. She writes and produces the Doctor Doctor segments on Animal Wise Radio, works with Minnesota's largest NO KILL shelter and is an expert in rehabilitating shelter dogs.
Bonney Brown is the executive Director of the Nevada Humane Society. In her first year, she increased adoption rate by 53% for dogs and 84% for cats. In 2009, Washoe County shelters saved 90% of dogs and cats, making it one of the safest communities in the country for homeless animals.
